SQL execution via unfiltered settings parameters
Published Feb 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in bloofoxCMS 0.5.1 through 0.5.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL via administrative settings. The admin/index.php settings handlers accept multiple POST parameters without security filtering, allowing those values to alter MySQL query syntax. An administrative session is required; published payloads demonstrate boolean-, error-, and time-based extraction of database query results.
