Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked UDP commands
Published Apr 29, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Remote code execution in Wondershare Dr.Fone 12.0.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to run arbitrary code through a UDP service. InstallAssistService.exe accepts a UDP payload naming PowerShell and its arguments, then launches the supplied command without authentication or validation. Network reachability to the SYSTEM-level service is sufficient for complete host control without user interaction.
