Denial of service in libming 0.4.8 allows attackers to interrupt processing via a crafted SWF file. The parseSWF_DEFINELOSSLESS2 function in util/parser.c parses compressed lossless-image data without checking input boundaries, so malformed SWF fields can drive out-of-bounds processing. Exploitation requires delivery of a crafted SWF to a process that uses libming; the documented consequence is service interruption rather than data disclosure or code execution.
