Unauthenticated database disclosure via unescaped AJAX parameter
Published Jul 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Webnus Modern Events Calendar Lite 6.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data via an AJAX request. The wp_ajax_mec_load_single_page action inserts the unescaped id parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient preparation. Exploitation requires addslashes to be disabled; the published CNA assessment limits the demonstrated consequence to database disclosure.
