CVE-2021-44530Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via login remember field

Published Jan 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Log4j injection in Ubiquiti UniFi Network Application 6.5.53 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code over the network. The login endpoint logs the attacker-controlled remember field, causing the bundled Log4j library to resolve a JNDI string and deserialize a remote Java object. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation executes commands with the application process's privileges.
