Script execution via unescaped URL parameters
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in GTranslate Inc. Translate WordPress – Google Language Translator before 6.0.10 allows remote attackers to run script via URLs. Paid subdomain or subdirectory modes copy URL parameters into generated output without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Execution requires a victim to follow the crafted link in an older browser without proper URL encoding support; the script runs in that user's page context.
