Service crash via ZRead NULL dereference
Published Apr 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
NULL pointer dereference in ZRead in FIS GT.M 7.0-000 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash the database service via crafted input. ZRead processes attacker-controlled input and dereferences a NULL pointer instead of rejecting the invalid state. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is a service crash without confidentiality or integrity impact.
