Remote process crash via ZPrint NULL dereference
Published Apr 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
NULL pointer dereference in YottaDB r1.32 and earlier and FIS GT.M V7.0-000 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash the process. The ZPrint execution path accepts crafted input and later dereferences a NULL pointer; public upstream material does not name the responsible function. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient, and the bounded consequence is termination of the affected database process rather than data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
