Unauthenticated file write via unvalidated savepng.php upload
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Digital Zoom Studio ZoomSounds 5.96 and earlier allows remote attackers to write arbitrary server files. The savepng.php handler accepts a request body and location parameter without validating the file type, then writes the payload under the plugin path. No WordPress account is required; code execution follows when the web server treats an uploaded PHP file as executable.
