Process data disclosure via out-of-bounds JT read
Published Dec 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Siemens JT Utilities before 12.8.1.1 and JT Open Toolkit before 10.8.1.1 allows attackers to leak process data. The JTTK parser reads past the end of an allocated buffer while processing a crafted JT file, exposing adjacent process memory. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file, and disclosure is limited to data available within the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
