Information disclosure via out-of-bounds JT file read
Published Dec 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Siemens JT Utilities before 13.1.1.0 and JT Open Toolkit before 11.1.1.0 allows attackers to disclose process data. The JTTK library reads past the end of an allocated buffer while parsing attacker-crafted JT file data. Exploitation requires an affected application to parse the crafted file, typically through user interaction, and exposes only information accessible to the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
