Unauthorized tunnel access via all-interface socket binding
Published Sep 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper socket binding in AnyDesk for Windows before 6.2.6 and 6.3.0 through 6.3.2 allows remote attackers to access tunneled services. The Windows client binds the TCP tunnel listener to all network interfaces instead of limiting it to the local host. Exposure requires active tunneling and a shared LAN, granting access to the local tunnel stack and data available from the remote listening service.
