Camera reboot via malformed SetLocalLink parameter
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Improper input validation in reolink RLC-410W 3.0.0.136_20121102 allows remote attackers to reboot the camera via a crafted HTTP request. The cgiserver.cgi JSON parser assumes SetLocalLink param is an object and reaches an assert when a non-object value is supplied. An unauthenticated network attacker can trigger the request without user interaction, interrupting camera service through a reboot.
