Camera reboot via non-object SetPush parameter
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Improper input validation in Reolink RLC-410W 3.0.0.136_20121102 allows remote authenticated users to reboot the camera via HTTP. The cgiserver.cgi SetPush parser treats a non-object param value as an object and invokes the JSON subscription operator, triggering an assertion. The request normally requires a logged-in user, but a separate authentication-bypass flaw can expose the API without authentication; the outage lasts through the reboot.
