Device reboot via non-object SetNorm parameter
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Denial of service in Reolink RLC-410W 3.0.0.136_20121102 allows remote attackers to reboot the camera via a crafted HTTP request. The SetNorm parser treats a string-valued param as a JSON object and invokes the subscription operator, triggering an assertion in cgiserver.cgi. No user interaction is required; the failed process stops its heartbeat and forces a device reboot, interrupting camera service.
