Camera reboot via non-object SetAudioAlarm parameter
Published Apr 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Improper input validation in Reolink RLC-410W 3.0.0.136_20121102 allows remote attackers to reboot the camera via HTTP. The SetAudioAlarm parameter parser treats a non-object JSON param value as an object, causing Json::Value::operator[] to assert and stop cgiserver.cgi heartbeats. No authentication or user interaction is required; the resulting service interruption is a camera reboot, not data access or modification.
