Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped settings parameters
Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in /user/ztconfig.php in BaiCloud-cms 2.5.7 allows remote authenticated users to alter database data through crafted settings. The settings update concatenates tongji and baidu_map values into an UPDATE statement, so crafted quotes, assignments, and a comment execute attacker-selected SQL expressions. A valid user login is required, and the published exploit demonstrates injecting the database user() expression and retrieving its result from the settings page.
