Request manipulation via unencoded configuration identifiers
Published Dec 3, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path manipulation in LibreNMS 21.11.0 allows remote attackers to alter requests sent to a configured Oxidized service. showconfig.inc.php concatenates configuration OID and version values into Oxidized request URLs without URL encoding, allowing delimiter characters to change the query structure. The affected code runs when the Show Config view retrieves configuration content; upstream material does not demonstrate a further file-read, write, or code-execution consequence.
