Settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Vuukle Comments, Reactions, Share Bar, Revenue 3.4.31 and earlier allows attackers to modify plugin settings. The admin settings handler in /admin/partials/free-comments-for-wordpress-vuukle-admin-display.php processes state-changing input without correctly validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires remote attackers to induce a logged-in site administrator to submit a forged request, and the documented consequence is limited to changing plugin settings.
