Reflected script execution via unescaped dashboard input
Published Dec 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Gurock TestRail before 7.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted dashboard request. The dashboard renderer places attacker-controlled input into HTML without the escaping needed to keep it as text. Exploitation requires a signed-in attacker and user interaction, and permits script execution in the victim's browser context.
