Privilege escalation via missing authorization check
Published Dec 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Missing authorization in SAP GRC Access Control V1100_700, V1100_731, and V1200_750 allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges. The GRC-ACP ABAP component omits a required authorization check before an authenticated user performs a protected action; SAP has not disclosed the affected function or request path. Reachability requires an authenticated account, and successful exploitation grants privileges beyond that account's assigned authorization.
