Missing authentication in Siemens SIMATIC eaSie Core Package before 22.00 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to issue arbitrary system requests. The underlying MQTT service accepts arbitrary published messages without authenticating clients when the default configuration is used. Network access to that service is sufficient to submit messages that the system processes as requests, affecting confidentiality and integrity without a reported availability impact.
