Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Incorrect permissions in Northern.tech CFEngine Enterprise before 3.15.5 and 3.18.x before 3.18.1 allow local users to read logs. The Enterprise Hub package creates Apache and Mission Portal application logs under /var/cfengine/httpd/logs with world-readable permissions. Exploitation requires local access to an Enterprise Hub and discloses web-server or application log data, which can contain sensitive information depending on configuration.
