Sensitive memory disclosure via malformed 3GP parsing
Published Sep 7, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe After Effects 22.0 and earlier and 18.4.2 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory. The 3GP file parser fails to validate user-controlled file data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. A victim must open a malicious 3GP file; exposed memory can reveal addresses that weaken ASLR, with no integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
