Code execution via unchecked 3GP parser read
Published Sep 7, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Out-of-bounds reading in Adobe After Effects 22.0 and earlier and 18.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The 3GP parser fails to validate user-supplied file data before reading past the end of an allocated structure. A victim must open the malicious 3GP file or visit a page that supplies it, and resulting code runs in the current process and user context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
