CVE-2021-44185

Memory disclosure via unvalidated RGB image data

Published Dec 7, 2021 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Bridge 11.1.2 and earlier and 12.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose memory via a crafted RGB file. The RGB image parser inadequately validates user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open the file, and the disclosed memory can help bypass ASLR or support a vulnerability chain.
