Reflected XSS via itemResourceType parameter
Published Jan 13, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.10.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser. The /bin/wcm/contentfinder/page/view.html endpoint reflects the itemResourceType parameter into page output without safe neutralization. Exploitation requires a victim to visit a crafted URL, allowing script execution in that victim's AEM browser context.
