Stack-based buffer overflow in Fortinet FortiOS before 7.0.4 and FortiProxy before 2.0.8 allows local users to execute code. The command-line interpreter fails to bound specially crafted command-line arguments, causing data to overrun a stack buffer. Exploitation requires a locally authenticated, high-privilege session and permits unauthorized code or command execution with the appliance's privileges.
