CVE-2021-44164Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via URL filter bypass

Published Dec 20, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in Chain Sea ai chatbot system allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code without authentication. The file-upload function fails to filter special characters in a supplied URL, allowing file-type validation to be bypassed and a malicious script to be uploaded and executed. Network access alone is sufficient; successful exploitation grants control of the server or interrupts the service, while affected versions remain unspecified.
