Unauthenticated account impersonation via trusted cookie parameter
Published Dec 29, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Authentication bypass in Carinal Tien Hospital Health Report System allows remote attackers to assume a general user's privileges. The login page trusts a client-controlled cookie parameter populated with another user's personal information instead of authenticating that identity. No authentication is required; the acquired account context permits limited operations and data modification that can interrupt part of the affected user's service.
