Personal-password insertion via unchecked import token
Published Nov 19, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Team Password Manager before 10.135.236 allows remote attackers to add personal passwords via an import request. The /index.php/mysettings/import_upload endpoint accepts an empty anti-CSRF token and still processes an attacker-supplied CSV file. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to visit attacker-controlled content in the same browser; the request creates personal entries but cannot overwrite records or affect shared projects.
