CVE-2021-44026Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

SQL injection via cross-context session search state

Published Nov 19, 2021 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

SQL injection in Roundcube Webmail before 1.3.17 and 1.4.0 through 1.4.11 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL via search state. Mail and address-book workflows reuse the search and search_params session keys, causing one workflow to consume the other workflow's state as database query criteria. A crafted request must create cross-context session state that reaches an address-book query, and resulting statements run with the application database account's privileges.
