Process-memory disclosure via TIFF buffer over-read
Published Dec 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Tiff_Loader.dll in Siemens JT2Go and Teamcenter Visualization before 13.2.0.5 allows attackers to disclose process data. The TIFF parser reads past the end of an allocated buffer when processing a crafted TIFF file. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and exposes memory from the current process without reported data modification or service interruption.
