Process information disclosure via TIFF buffer over-read
Published Dec 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Siemens JT2Go and Teamcenter Visualization before 13.2.0.5 allows attackers to disclose process data via a TIFF file. The Tiff_Loader.dll parser reads beyond the end of an allocated buffer while processing untrusted TIFF input. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and disclosure is limited to information available within the current process.
