Out-of-bounds write in Siemens JT Open Toolkit, JT Utilities, and Solid Edge allows attackers to execute code via crafted JT files. Jt1001.dll writes past the end of an allocated structure while parsing attacker-controlled JT content, corrupting process memory. JT Open Toolkit before 11.1.1.0, JT Utilities before 13.1.1.0, and Solid Edge before 2023 are affected; a user must open the file, and exploitation runs code in the current process or crashes it.
