Unauthorized file modification via runnable typo fix
Published Nov 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper access control in Facade Ignition before 1.16.15 and 2.0.0 through 2.0.5 allows remote attackers to modify local files. SuggestCorrectVariableNameSolution accepts a caller-supplied viewFile path and variable names, reads that file, replaces matching variables, and writes the result back. The route must expose runnable solutions to the attacker; modifications remain limited to variable substitutions in files writable by the PHP process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
