Password recovery via weak MD5 hashing

Weak password hashing in mySCADA Technologies myPRO 8.20.0 and earlier allows attackers to crack previously retrieved password hashes. The password storage mechanism applies MD5 without sufficient computational effort, so captured hashes can be tested rapidly offline. Exploitation requires prior access to stored password hashes and exposes the corresponding passwords without changing system data.
