Authenticated arbitrary file upload via UploadPsIcon.jsp
Published Jan 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in SysAid ITIL 20.4.74 b10 allows remote authenticated users to store arbitrary files through UploadPsIcon.jsp. The endpoint accepts the multipart file value without restricting dangerous file types and returns the uploaded file's absolute server path. An authenticated session, request token, and required Referer are needed; the upload alone does not expose the file through the web server, but it enables code execution when chained with the separate arbitrary-file-copy flaw.
