Authenticated RCE via albumimages.jsp upload
Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Arbitrary file upload in Quicklert for Digium 10.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via albumimages.jsp. The albumimages.jsp audioFile parameter accepts a filename containing .mp3;.jsp when the file begins with audio bytes, then serves the uploaded JSP for execution. A low-privileged authenticated account is required; execution occurs with the application's SYSTEM-level permissions and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
