Stored script execution via unsanitized Wizard fields
Published Jan 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Lorensbergs Connect2 3.13.7647.20190 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in booking users' browsers. The Wizard editor stores administrator-supplied Page title, Page Instructions, and surrounding text fields, then renders them in the booking area without neutralizing script payloads. Exploitation requires administrator privileges, saving a crafted field, and a subsequent rental-item booking by another user; the vendor maintains that administrators require JavaScript customization capability.
