Stored XSS in Atlassian Jira Server and Data Center before 8.20.3 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript through issueTypes. The /rest/jpo/1.0/hierarchyConfiguration endpoint stores arbitrary HTML or JavaScript from the issueTypes parameter without neutralizing it for later rendering. Roadmaps Administrator permission is required, and a later viewer executes the stored script in the user's Jira browser context.
