Template injection in Atlassian Jira Server and Data Center before 8.13.15 and 8.14.0 through 8.20.2 allows remote authenticated users to run code. Atlassian has not published the template-processing locus or the operation that evaluates administrator-controlled template content as code. System-administrator permissions and access to Email Templates are required; successful exploitation executes arbitrary code in the Jira server context.
