CVE-2021-43925Network attack vector

SQL command injection via Log Management

Published Feb 7, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

SQL injection in Synology DiskStation Manager before 7.0.1-42218-2 allows remote attackers to inject commands through Log Management. Synology identifies Log Management as the affected locus but has not published the input field, endpoint, or database operation that mishandles SQL metacharacters. The vendor's assessment requires high privileges; the bounded consequence is SQL-command injection because resulting data access and service effects are undisclosed.
