Unauthenticated code execution via crafted network packets
Published Dec 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Remote code execution in Microsoft 4K Wireless Display Adapter allows remote attackers to execute code by sending crafted network packets. Public vendor records do not identify the packet-processing component or the incorrect operation applied to those packets. Attackers must share a network with an adapter running firmware 3.0.0 through versions before 3.9520.47; no authentication or user interaction is required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
