Cart modification via missing CSRF verification
Published Dec 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
CSRF in Solidus solidus_frontend before 2.11.14, 3.0.0 through 3.0.4, and 3.1.0 through 3.1.4 allows remote attackers to add cart items. Spree::OrdersController#populate explicitly skips Rails authenticity-token verification, so it accepts forged POST requests carrying a victim's session cookie. A victim must visit an attacker-controlled site while holding a store session; the published impact is limited to cart modification, with no purchase completion reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
