Item duplication via delete-and-recreate teleportation
Published Apr 19, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
Improper vehicle handling in Stargate-Bukkit 0.7.9.11 through 0.11.5.0 allows remote attackers to duplicate in-game items. The legacy portal teleportation path deletes and recreates a chest minecart; on Minecraft 1.12.2 and later, deletion drops its cargo while the recreated cart retains the same contents. The issue affects the default configuration, and any player can repeat portal transit to alter game-world integrity by multiplying items.
