Product price manipulation via unchecked CSV import
Published Jun 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in VillaTheme CURCY 2.1.17 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to change WooCommerce product prices. The wmc_bulk_fixed_price AJAX hook invokes import_csv(), which accepts an uploaded CSV and writes price metadata without a capability check or security nonce. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and crafted product IDs and currency values can overwrite fixed prices for one or multiple products.
