Database disclosure via unvalidated search ordering inputs
Published Dec 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Blind SQL injection in PrestaShop 1.7.5.0 through 1.7.8.1 allows remote attackers to read database data through search filters. The Filters accessors returned untrusted orderBy and sortOrder values that query builders inserted as SQL ordering syntax without strict field-name and direction validation. No account or user interaction is required; the blind channel exposes database content through observable response differences rather than direct query output.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
