Account takeover via unsanitized LDAP search filter
Published Dec 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
LDAP injection in Enalean Tuleap allows remote authenticated users to suspend or take over accounts during daily synchronization. Daily LDAP synchronization builds a search filter from a user's ldap_id without adequate neutralization, permitting a crafted value to force the ldap_uid update applied to another account. Exploitation requires an enabled LDAP plugin and either Tuleap site-administrator capability or LDAP operator permission to create or modify accounts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
