Arbitrary file read via unterminated path rejection
Published Nov 24, 2021 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
Path traversal in the pluginsGLPI Barcode plugin 2.0.0 through 2.6.0 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files. front/send.php detects a filename outside the generated-files directory but continues execution and joins that untrusted filename to the document directory instead of terminating the request. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposure is limited to GLPI instances with the plugin installed, and the demonstrated consequence is arbitrary file disclosure.
